Femstreet is a curated weekly newsletter featuring content by female CEOs, operators, and investors in the tech and venture capital sectors . Founded by Sarah Nöckel in September 2017 from her bedroom in Maida Vale, London, the newsletter started out of frustration with the lack of visibility for women in tech, with Nöckel hoping to solve a personal problem rather than pursue a defined business goal . Nöckel, an investor at Northzone (and previously at Dawn Capital) , curates the newsletter to amplify women's voices, celebrate their accomplishments, and create a culture of empowerment where women lead, shape, and fund the future of technology.

The newsletter grew from zero to 5,000 subscribers by October 2019 , after publishing 100 issues. Femstreet reached over 19,000 readers , and as of 2025 has tens of thousands of subscribers at leading tech companies, corporates, and venture capital firms globally. Femstreet evolved into the largest global community for women in tech and venture capital . The newsletter has published over 288 issues, maintaining its mission to bring greater visibility to women in technology through weekly curated content that highlights female leadership and innovation across the startup and VC ecosystem.
